What is Borobudur?
It is the largest Buddhist temple in the world which also one of the seven wonders of the world, built by the Syailendra Dynasty, by King Samaratungga in the eighth century.
Why Borobudur?
Aside from the lesson in history of the people nearby, abundance of beauty can be seen from the top of the temple, from the sunrise to
mountainous view, and view of Mount Merapi, the most active volcano on Java. Borobudur is also known to be a gathering place for the Buddhists to welcome the Waisak festivity.

Borobudur is located in Magelang, a highland about 40 km from Yogyakarta.

ITINERARY

Day 1
We will greet you at Adisucipto Airport or Tugu Station, then visit Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple, which earns its fame with the legend of Roro Jonggrang. Continue with lunch, and stay at Manohara Guest House, located next to the Borobudur temple. Enjoy the pleasant natural atmosphere and the beauty of the Borobudur temple from the window of your room.
Day 2
At 5.00 am, we reach Borobudur through a special entrance, to relish the charm of sunrise in tranquility and to sense the magnificent aura gleaming from the stones of the largest Buddhist temple, the Borobudur. Soothe yourself with a cup of hot coffee and breakfast. Check out, then visit home industry batik center, Kotagede silver industry center, Jogja unique gift center, lunch in a restaurant, and check in at the hotel in Jogja.
Day 3
Free program until time for transfer to the airport or train station.
