Itinerary in Detail

DAY 1: 11 July Arrival Osaka

Arrival into Osaka Kansai International Airport, you will transfer to hotel by private bus.

DAY 2: 12 July Osaka- Hyogo- Hiroshima

After Breakfast, we will drive to Hyogo, and enjoy the Himeji City with its iconic white walls and meandering eaves, shaped like the wings of egrets. Then drive to Hiroshima. we will make a visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to witness the history and legacy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. You will have a chance to contemplate the dome of the atomic bomb explosion, ruins of war for that recall the fearsome power of the atomic bomb and stand testament to a peace not cheaply won.

DAYS 3: 13 July Hiroshima- Kurashiki- Osaka

After Breakfast, we will proceed to Miyajima and the World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Jinja. It is one of the three most celebrated Japan attractions, a shrine built in the midst of the sea, in solemn and gorgeous architectural style. The ‘torii’ (shrine gate) is supported by four pillars in the sea. After lunch,you will proceed to Kurashiki and visit Kurashiki Bikan. Stay in Osaka.

DAY 4: 14 July Osaka- Nara- Kyoto

After breakfast, a morning visit to shopping Shinsaibashi quarter and enjoying all manner of delicious cuisines in the nearby Dotonbori neighborhood, at your leisure. Lunch will feature the traditional Japanese beef cuisine. In the afternoon, proceed to Todai-Ji in Nara and Nara deer park. Todai-ji is currently still the largest all-wooden structure in the world. And then visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto . This temple was founded in 778, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633 by order of Tokugawa Iemitsu.

DAY 5: 15 July Kyoto- Magome-juku- Shizuoka

After breakfast we will transport to Atsuta Shrine. The shrine’s Bunkaden, or treasure hall, preserves over 4,000 relics, including 174 Important Cultural Properties and a dagger that is a designated National Treasure of Japan. Next, we will proceed to Magome-juku, 43rd of the 69 stations of the Nakasendou, the ancient road that connected Kyoto to Edo during the Edo period. And then to the Ena-kyo Valley, which is distributed by the natural erosion and the formation of the rocks of the cliff, as if piercing the ground of the rock, it is amazing. Tonight, we will dine on local delicacies of the celebrated Kaiseki, traditional multi-course Japanese dinner, or King Crab buffet. Enjoy all the facilities of the hotel and the varieties of hot springs spa.

DAY 6: 16 July Shizuoka- Tokyo

After breakfast, set out toward the foothills of Fuji Mountain, in Five Lakes District. Visit to Oshino Hakkai, a historic natural attraction comprising eight ponds that are all that remain of a former sixth lake dried up several hundred years ago. Visit the scenic shores of Lake Kawaguchi and proceed on to Peace Park.

DAY 7: 17 July Tokyo sightseeing

After breakfast, transport to the Imperial Palace – residence of the royal family – of Tokyo. Visit to the “double bridge” (Nijubashi) over the palace moat. Next, admission to the behemoth Tokyo Sky Tree(exclude entrance ticket), a 634 meter (2,080 ft.) broadcasting, dining and observation tower in Sumida. Then visit royal jewelry and proceeding to Senso-ji Buddhist Temple in historic Asakusa district. The Nakamise-dori street is the main approach to this ancient temple, and all along the road are traditional shopfronts for souvenir items and snacks. Conclude the day’s touring with a visit to Meiji Shrine, raised in the midst of a manmade primeval forest, to honor the memory of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.

DAY 8: 18 July Tokyo

Today is a free day for you to enjoy Tokyo at your own leisure.

DAY 9: 19 July Tokyo – Home City (Service end)

After breakfast, guide will assist you on the airport shuttle to Tokyo Narita International Airport, where you will depart on your flight back home as you conclude your marvelous journey through essential Japan.

DAY 1: 18 July Tokyo

Today is a free day for you to enjoy Tokyo at your own leisure.

DAY 2: 19July Tokyo- Sapporo – Sounkyo / Morning Flight

Flight to Sapporo Chitose Airport where your tour guide will be waiting to greet you. and the guided Hokkaido tour begins with an excursion to Furano, to visit Tomita Farm. There you will find over 150 types of flowers and plants, in heavenly array. The excursion continues on to Biei, with scenic landscape all along the drive. For lunch, a spread of Furano specialities. After lunch, visit to the colorful Shikisai No Oka, with its wealth of seasonal flower blossoms. In the late afternoon, arrival at Mount Kurodake, Sounyo, and check in at hotel.

DAYS 3: 20 July Sounkyo- Lake Akan

After breakfast, transport to Sounkyo Valley. Sightseeing at the two beautiful cascades of Ginga Waterfall and Ryusei Waterfall in the valley of Oobako. Continue to Abashiri and, en route, visit the Ryuhyo Museum. This museum houses a simulated drift ice experience in a space maintained at -15c°so you can meet the small creature called ‘sea angel’ which can only be found under the
drift ice of Hokkaido. Next, sightseeing of Lake Mashu, said to be the clearest lake in the world. Proceed to Lake Kussharo, where according to rumor a sea monster once lived. Onward to the hotel, and check in.

DAYS 4: 21 July Lake Akan- Tokachi

After breakfast, enjoy a cruise on Lake Akan to explore the scenic shoreline that offers up remarkable views in every season. Continue to Kushiroshi Tanchozuru Natural Park inhabited by the iconic red-crown crane. Proceed to Tokachi, check in to hotel. The evening meal will feature Toyonishi beef and variety of seasonal vegetables.

DAYS 5: 22July Tokachi- Jozankei

After breakfast, visit to Jigokudani, the so-called ‘Hell Valley.’ Its landscape is a vast expanse of hot steam vents, sulfurous streams and other such volcanic activity. For lunch, a delicious Japanese seafood hotpot or bento. The afternoon will feature a visit to Bear Park to see the charismatic Ussuri Brown Bears. Afterwards, a ride along the Usuzan Cableway with its panoramic views of Showa-shinzan, and a close-up view of the Showa-Shinzan volcano. Back to the hotel, to enjoy a dinner of local delicacies.

DAYS 6: 23 July Jozankei- Sapporo – Departure

After breakfast, visit the Otaru Canal for a pleasant stroll along the walkway under the Victorian street lamps. Continuing on, you will discover the Kitaichi Glass Pavilion, where Kitaichi glass has been made since 1901. Here there are several stores and art galleries to peruse. If you wish, you may experience the making of the Kitaichi glass in the workshops. Then it is time to transfer to Chitose airport for your flight home, recollecting on all the wonderful memories of your trip. (Please arrange departure flight after 13:30 )
